Tiercon is an automotive supplier committed to the manufacture of quality exterior and interior trim and bumper systems used as original equipment in the automotive markets. Headquartered in Stoney Creek, the plants have moulding, painting and assembly capability, employing approximately 600 people throughout 4 Canadian facilities, and 1 managed US facility. Tiercon is seeking a knowledgeable, self directed, experienced and hard working individual interested in the automotive industry as a Master Scheduler/Planner at Coplas our Sterling Heights site. 

The Master Planner/Scheduler supports the Production Manager plan and manage the production requirements and the supply chain to ensure operations remain efficient.


  • Production planning tasks including: updating supplier inventory tracker, maintaining weekly cum report, manage daily release changes, log daily production and update QAD (ERP System).
  • Manage weekly service requirements in conjunction with production supervisors.
  • Coordinate with customer (AGS) for shipping racks, releases, etc.
  • Maintain and distribute production & scrap reports.
  • Production and scrap entry into ERP
  • Manage custom requirements to manage international shipping.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for required deliveries
  • Perform Shipping tasks including: shipping log updates, invoicing, creating shipping labels, scheduling deliveries, receive orders in QAD, completing customs documents, manage packing slips, clear receiving for month end,
  • Determine weekly manpower requirements.
  • Create operator work instructions
  • Macro & Long term capacity planning, manpower requirements  
  • Manage Resin releases 
  • Manage cycle counts through material handlers 
  • Improve inventory accuracy by measuring through counts, finding problems, determining root cause(s) and implementing countermeasures.
  • Management of outsourced regrind process      
  • Manage EDI releases to sub contractors & raw material vendors (Examples: SPI, Tiercon Oshawa and Stratus, Basell)
  • Drive Continuous Improvement through develop and implementation of ERP system and materials management procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including experience with customer interface
  • Effectively monitor, communicate and manage changes to releases from customers including feedback to customers.       
  • Develop & Implement shop floor procedures     
  • Back up for Plant Administration


  • Post Secondary Education in a related field
  • MS office proficiency
  • Advanced working knowledge in ERP systems (Experience with QAD an asset)
  • Experience with MMOG
  • Strong interpersonal skills including experience with customer interface
  • 5 years experience in a Materials coordination role or related role
  • 5 years expereicne in a manufacturing environment
