Tiercon is an automotive supplier committed to the manufacture of quality exterior and interior trim and bumper systems used as original equipment in the automotive markets.  Headquartered in Stoney Creek, the plants have moulding, painting and assembly capability, employing approximately 600 people throughout 4 Canadian facilities, and also manage 1 US facility.  Tiercon is seeking a knowledgeable, self directed, experienced and hard working individual interested in the automotive industry as a Shipping Supervisor at our 352 Arvin Ave. Stoney Creek facility. 


  • Maintain finished goods, warehouse, shipping and receiving areas and exterior of building in a neat and organized fashion
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventories. Provide daily reconciliation's for finished goods discrepancies
  • Material identification, scanning, storage
  • Daily fork lift and battery maintenance inspection programs
  • Monitor daily receipts (raw material, components, WIP, finished goods)
  • Interpret/analyze daily and weekly customer releases to establish shipping requirements
  • Coordinate daily shipping and receiving activities
  • Customer liaison for all shipping inquiries/requests/accum discrepancies
  • Rotating shifts (days & afternoons) OR straight afternoon shift
  • Weekend/holiday coverage required when OEMs request weekend/holiday activities
  • Customer service functions
  • Provide customs assistance/NAFTA requirements (certificates of origin)
  • Reconcile accum discrepancies
  • Forklift driver scheduling, overtime canvassing, rotation, training, counseling/disciplines as required
  • Back up material coordinator
  • Maintain consistent standards of safety in compliance with company policy
  • Specialist projects and assignments as deemed necessary by Warehouse Manager
  • Participate in ALL Quarterly and Annual Inventories


  • Post Secondary Education in a related field or Equivalent working experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment, Automotive industry preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
